What is Video Therapy?
Video therapy, also called telehealth, is a form of online therapy where you and your therapist meet over video from any location using your phone or computer.
Video therapy provides convenience, guarantees comfort, and improves accessibility. If you find these benefits appealing, video therapy may be an excellent option. All you need is reliable internet access, a device with a camera such as a phone, computer, or tablet, and a private place to talk.
Who is Video Therapy For?
Video therapy can be beneficial to a wide range of clients, including those living in remote or rural areas, individuals who are disabled or housebound, and the elderly.
It is essential to note that video therapy is not suitable for every client. While video therapy is proven to be just as effective as in-person therapy, it may not be appropriate for all clients. Whether video therapy is right for you depends on your condition and the severity of your symptoms.
If you are a current client, please get in touch with your therapist to schedule a video appointment.
For new clients, please call or text our Care Coordinators at 650-461-9026 to get started. We’re available Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm and Saturday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
How Does Video Therapy Work?
If you decide to do video therapy, you will receive a secure link via email. You will receive this link well in advance of your appointment, and at the time of your appointment, you will click the link to join your session with your therapist. During your session, your therapist will maintain strict confidentiality standards for your protection.
